Mindful Mama Chat, De-Stressing with the S.T.O.P. Practice

Join us Thurs., Dec. 11, 7:30pm EST for our last Mindful Mama Chat of the year on Zoom. We’ll root in community and explore the S.T.O.P. Practice (from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) to help navigate overwhelm on our neurodivergent motherhood journey. S.T.O.P. practice comes from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Developed in the late 1970s by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, MBSR combines mindfulness meditation, body awareness, and yoga to help individuals manage stress, pain, and illness; it also helps explore patterns of behavior, thinking, feeling, and action - all while rooting in mindfulness.
